API Integration Developer

The API Integration Developer role involves designing, implementing and supporting applications to meet business requirements. This position works closely with the Technical Lead and Integration Analyst to develop system solutions that cater to organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and design application solutions in one or more programming languages.
  • Develop and implement system integration, test planning, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Evaluate project requests, provide estimates, and make recommendations on technical feasibility.
  • Troubleshoot issues and identify potential process improvement areas.
  • Collaborate with business units, customers, and subject matter experts to stay informed about project status, architectural trends, and functional/integration issues.
Technical Requirements:

This role requires a strong foundation in computer science and experience with:

  • C# for building Web APIs.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
  • SQL Server and ETL for data management.
  • JSON, API, and Web Services for data exchange.
  • API Management Life cycle including design, development, security, governance, monitoring, alerting, and versioning.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in a computing environment with multiple programming languages.
