Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Steward to oversee document management and sourcing strategy, ensuring efficient document lifecycle processes.

About the Role

This role involves collaboration with diverse teams to handle stakeholder requirements, managing vendor and source interactions, governance of documents, and metadata required for MI. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of platforms and systems, as well as excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design document ingestion, quality improvement, and front-end feeding processes in collaboration with third-party vendors and internal technology teams.
  2. Perform R&D exercises to support strategic initiatives at Documents Data Management and curation projects, delivering on the Documents Platform Roadmap.
  3. Understand dataset and downstream workflow, including CIQ sourcing tools and applications.
  4. Deliver resolutions to client queries from the Data Stewardship side to assist the Client Support team.
  5. Work with operations leadership to suggest and approve policies around document collection and ingestion for strategic initiatives/projects.
  6. Support Operations team in a consultative capacity on critical client cases, root cause analysis, audit prioritization, lean projects, automation POCs & UAT.
  7. Work closely with Documents scrum teams, providing documentation and refining work items.
  8. Adept Gen AI to improve processes and end-to-end delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Prior work experience in Filings and Sourcing domains.
  • Subject matter expertise in Documents databases, systems, tools, and applications.
  • Proficiency with advanced Excel and SQL including Plugins.
  • Strong understanding of platforms and systems (MI Platform, CIQ Platform, CTS, CDRM, Doc repository, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet critical deadlines.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across segments to handle stakeholder requirements.
  • Initiative with a high sense of urgency and focus on client delivery.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with relational database concepts.
