Job Description:
We seek an individual who can build and maintain relationships with clients, generate sales leads, and handle freight negotiations. Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry and software applications, is essential. A strong business mindset with a proactive approach is necessary for success.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Relationship Building:
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients to secure new business deals.
- Generate sales leads through proactive cold calls and internet research.
- Handle freight negotiation & provide quotations to customers.
- Ensure timely and effective communication by checking and following up on messages.
- Handle general data entry tasks using Local and Google software.
- Implement digital media and new marketing strategies and maintain a vibrant market presence.
Requirements:
- Fundamental Skills:
- Fast learning ability to promptly understand basic logistics / supply chain movements and develop understanding of changing market conditions and industry dynamics.
- Proficiency and fluency in professional / sales communication through speech and written correspondence.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry and software applications.
- Strong business mindset with a proactive thinking approach.
- Experience in marketing and social media / digital media platforms (maintain good online presence, familiarity with marketing techniques and generating posts and updates).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Direct Sales, Customer Service or related industry.
- Fresh candidates and prior experience in shipping and freight forwarding are welcome.
