Job Description:

We seek an individual who can build and maintain relationships with clients, generate sales leads, and handle freight negotiations. Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry and software applications, is essential. A strong business mindset with a proactive approach is necessary for success.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Relationship Building:
  1. Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients to secure new business deals.
  2. Generate sales leads through proactive cold calls and internet research.
Negotiation and Communication:
  1. Handle freight negotiation & provide quotations to customers.
  2. Ensure timely and effective communication by checking and following up on messages.
Data Entry and Software Applications:
  1. Handle general data entry tasks using Local and Google software.
Digital Media and Marketing:
  1. Implement digital media and new marketing strategies and maintain a vibrant market presence.

Requirements:

  • Fundamental Skills:
  1. Fast learning ability to promptly understand basic logistics / supply chain movements and develop understanding of changing market conditions and industry dynamics.
  2. Proficiency and fluency in professional / sales communication through speech and written correspondence.
  3. Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry and software applications.
  4. Strong business mindset with a proactive thinking approach.
Negotiation and Marketing:
  1. Experience in marketing and social media / digital media platforms (maintain good online presence, familiarity with marketing techniques and generating posts and updates).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Direct Sales, Customer Service or related industry.
  • Fresh candidates and prior experience in shipping and freight forwarding are welcome.
