Job Title: Sales and Marketing Executive - Sea Freight

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients to secure new business deals.
  2. Generate sales leads through proactive cold calls and internet research.
  3. Handle freight negotiation & provide quotations to customers.
  4. Manage Supply Chain requirements smoothly and handle all logistics processes.
  5. Ensure timely and effective communication by checking and following up on emails.
  6. Collaborate with carriers and customers for seamless operational coordination.
  7. Handle general data entry tasks using Local and Google software.
  8. Implement digital media and new marketing strategies and maintain a vibrant market presence.

Skills Required:

  1. Excellent sales negotiation and marketing skills.
  2. Fast learning ability to promptly understand basic logistics / supply chain movements and develop understanding of changing market conditions and industry dynamics.
  3. Proficiency and fluency in professional / sales communication through speech and E-mail.
  4. Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry and software applications.
  5. Strong business mindset with a proactive thinking approach.
  6. Experience in marketing and social media / digital media platforms (maintain good online presence, familiarity with marketing techniques and generating posts and updates).

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Direct Sales, Customer Service or related industry.
  2. Fresh candidates and prior experience of shipping and freight forwarding are welcome.
