Operational Excellence Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing standard operations policies and procedures according to our requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Standard Operations Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement standard operations policies and procedures that align with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Operations Qualification and Training: Establish and maintain the operations qualification and specific training standard needed for personnel.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Work in conjunction with Maintenance Supervisor/Manager to ascertain the condition of equipment, required maintenance activities, and scheduled overhauls.
  • Reporting and Planning: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operations/production reports, as well as prepare annual plant operating plans and operational capital and operating budgets in conjunction with the Power Plant Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory registration with Pakistan Engineering Council)
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in similar capacity
  • Hands-on experience in Operations of HFO power plants and its auxiliaries is a must
  • Experience in Maintenance Management Tools e.g. Maximo
  • Prior experience of Wartsila W46 engine is an advantage
  • Understanding of workplace safety
