Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting specialist to manage financial statements, analyze data, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial trends, identify areas for improvement, and provide management with accurate and timely insights.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis and reporting.
  • Provide support during audits, prepare audit schedules, and liaise with external auditors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Masters preferred).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
