Senior Consultant - Financial Accounting Advisory Services

The opportunity to take on a leadership role in financial accounting advisory services is an exciting one. This position offers the chance to acquire the experience and skill set necessary to become a leader of the future, while delivering high-quality and efficient advisory projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead treasury and risk management projects, including design, implementation, configuration, and integration of relevant modules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, contribute to solution design, and provide guidance on treasury functionalities.
  • Conduct analysis of treasury processes to identify areas for optimization and implement best practices.
  • Lead client demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of treasury solutions.
  • Assess vendor solutions, conduct evaluations, and recommend suitable options for treasury implementation.
  • Contribute to system testing activities, including creating test scenarios and ensuring successful data migration and validation for treasury functionalities.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to enhance end-user proficiency in treasury modules.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, regulations, and advancements in treasury, and share knowledge and insights with the team.
  • Own project management activities, including project planning, resource allocation, and monitoring project progress.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation, adherence to project timelines, and achievement of project goals.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for treasury modules, addressing functional issues and identifying opportunities for enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 4-10 years of relevant experience in treasury and SAP FICO/SAP S4 HANA Finance.
  • SAP TRM certification and additional certifications in SAP FICO or SAP S4 HANA Finance would be beneficial.
  • Understanding of treasury and risk management processes, including cash management, liquidity management, debt management, In-House bank/cash, and financial risk management.
  • Knowledge of treasury modules, i.e., transaction management, market risk analyzer, cash and liquidity management, bank communication management, In-House Bank/Cash, intercompany netting off, hedge management, and credit risk analyzer.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing treasury functionalities to align with business requirements.
  • Integration experience of treasury with other SAP modules and external systems.
  • Familiarity with financial instruments, derivatives, and hedging strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders.
  • Project management experience, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to interact with management at all levels (EY and clients).
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% to 80% of the time.
