Job Title: Senior Risk Management Leader

Position Overview:

The primary goal of this position is to develop, implement, and manage the organization's risk management framework.

  • Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial and operational risks within the University.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and develop strategies to manage risks associated with financial transactions, operational processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop risk management frameworks and policies to ensure they align with the organization's objectives and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review internal controls in place within the Finance Department.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and mitigate risks associated with patient and student billing, fixed assets management, cash and treasury management, and other critical financial operations.
Internal Control Review:
  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, focusing on areas such as:
  • Financial reporting and accounting processes
  • Cash management and treasury operations
  • Patient and student billing processes
