Job Overview

The Director Administration plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of university activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing administration and maintenance of various departments including transportation services, horticulture, protocol office, telephone exchange, student accommodation and hostels, printing press, campus infrastructure and buildings, heating ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC), maintenance support workshop, maintenance store, main office and central registry section.
  • Processing accommodation requests and rent payments for staff.
  • Managing travel allowance claims for officers and staff.
Operational Management Skills Required:
  • Excellent operational management skills to oversee facilities management, campus security and administrative services.
  • Strong project management skills to plan execute and close projects within budget and timeframe.
Organizational and Interpersonal Skills:
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently with strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to providing excellent service to students faculty staff and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with faculty staff students and external stakeholders.
