Key Responsibilities:
  • Department Leadership: Supervise and manage the accounts payable department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Financial Management: Maintain the general ledger, accounts payable, and project accounting functions, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure all systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company standards, promoting efficiency and transparency.
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee tax-related processes and support AM taxation to ensure proper tax withholding and clearance of tax GLs.
  • Financial Reporting: Track and maintain records of financial expenditures, provide regular reports as requested by supervisors, and optimize database management for informed decision-making.
  • Payment Transactions: Oversee payment transactions, maintaining accurate records and tracking the status of transactions with external vendors and contractors.
  • Process Standardization: Develop standardized procedures to enhance efficiency, creating internal templates for consistent use.
  • Customer Support: Act as a liaison between departments, providing prompt communication to resolve queries and concerns efficiently.
  • Aging Minimization: Work towards minimizing payable aging by improving systems and adhering to policies and SOPs.
  • Query Resolution: Ensure timely resolution of each query, fostering a culture of responsiveness within the team.
