Customer Insights Specialist

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Research and Development department as a Customer Insights Representative. You will conduct phone interviews with customers to gather insights on their needs, preferences, and pain points.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for conducting phone interviews with customers in the Australian market to gather insights on their needs and preferences.
  • You will ask open-ended questions to encourage customers to share their thoughts and opinions.
  • You will take detailed notes and accurately document customer feedback.
  • You will analyze and identify patterns in customer feedback to inform product development strategies.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to ensure customer insights are integrated into business decisions.
  • You will develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Australian market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.

Your Background:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business, Psychology, or Social Sciences is essential.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in customer research, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role.
    • Strong listening and note-taking skills are essential for gathering accurate customer feedback.
    • Able to analyze and interpret customer feedback to inform product development strategies.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with market research principles and practices is necessary for this role.

About the Working Arrangements: This is a full-time position working hours of 7am-3PM (PST).
