Sr. Network Engineer

As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our server infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and maximum efficiency.

  • You will install, configure, and maintain servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Manage email, anti-spam, and virus protection systems to safeguard against potential threats.
  • Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords, guaranteeing secure access to our network.
  • Monitor network usage, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing resources as needed.
  • Develop and provide IT solutions to address business and management challenges, collaborating with stakeholders to drive innovation.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, from system crashes to password resets, ensuring minimal downtime and maximal productivity.
  • Implement and monitor network security measures, protecting our data and systems from cyber threats.
  • Deliver training and support to users with varying levels of technical expertise, empowering them to effectively utilize our IT systems.
  • Mentor junior staff members, such as help-desk technicians, fostering their growth and development within the team.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments and external partners, driving cross-functional initiatives and projects that enhance our IT capabilities.
  • Plan and execute future IT developments, taking ownership of large-scale projects and delivering results-driven outcomes.

We are seeking an exceptional individual with a strong background in network engineering, excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in network engineering, including experience with server hardware and software.
  • Current CCNA and/or CCDA certification, with a focus on Cisco Unified Communication Manager configuration and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server 2003 & 2008, Exchange, and SQL, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner, both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a proven ability to work effectively in teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
