ibex is looking for a Senior Network Engineer with experience in WAN protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF), LAN/WLAN (DNS, IP Addressing, QoS, Spanning Tree, Multicast), Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco ISR/ASR routers, and capable of providing Tier-1/2/3 support to diagnose and resolve escalated issues.

Responsibilities
  1. Troubleshoot and provide Tier-1/2/3 support to diagnose and resolve escalated issues affecting service quality across data centers, regional hubs, and branches.
  2. Manage network infrastructure and independently handle new tasks.
  3. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades.
  4. Monitor performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
  5. Monitor resource utilization, analyze trends, and plan capacity.
  6. Follow established configuration and change management policies to ensure successful network changes.
  7. Implement security policies and procedures in collaboration with the security team.
  8. Coordinate with internal and external teams for problem resolution.
  9. Handle network queries from operations/end users.
  10. Maintain network tools and applications such as Orion, TACACS, and configuration backups.
  11. Participate in troubleshooting meetings, manage trouble tickets, and respond to network inquiries.
  12. Coordinate with carriers.
  13. Configure and install network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
Qualifications
  1. Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
  2. 4-5 years of experience with WAN protocols, LAN/WLAN, Cisco switches/routers.
  3. Knowledge of NG-Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortigate), security practices (ACLs, VPNs).
  4. Experience with wireless access controllers and access points.
  5. Project experience with core infrastructure, networking, and cloud services.
  6. Knowledge of SDN/SD-WAN, public cloud, and security products.
  7. Expertise in routing, switching, VPN troubleshooting, WAN architecture.
  8. Experience with security audits, network patching, and compliance policies.
  9. Understanding of ITIL and enterprise change management.
  10. Strong NG-Firewalls experience and familiarity with Cisco IOS, Palo Alto, Fortinet, SolarWinds.
  11. Team management skills.
