Job Overview

This role will be responsible for driving the development, implementation and continuous improvement of analytical quality systems, processes and records within a plant environment.

The Quality Control Lead will work collaboratively with operations, quality assurance and customers to ensure product quality compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. This role involves cross-functional collaboration and communication to understand current demands on laboratory services and ensure timely and proper release of products based on effective sampling, accurate testing and relevant business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and maintain quality systems, processes and records that meet regulatory and customer requirements
  • Work collaboratively with operations, quality assurance and customers to ensure product quality
  • Conduct out-of-specification investigations and maintain records and monitor OOS trends
  • Drive continuous improvements by applying scientific methodology, root cause analysis and statistical analysis tools to support recommendations for process improvements
  • Provide training and technical support to laboratory staff in the use of applicable analytical equipment and methodologies
  • Develop and implement new quality procedures as needed and review, revise and improve existing systems on a periodic basis
