Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable, handling vendor invoice coding and approval workflows, establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, ensuring timely and accurate payment of bills and payroll, processing manual check requests and wires, processing vendor payments through vendor portals, investigating and resolving problems with vendor invoicing, managing returned payments, collecting update information from vendors, assisting with the 1099 process, and supporting month-end close by performing accounting duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable using NetSuite and Bill.com.
  • Handle vendor invoice coding and approval workflows.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of bills and payroll.
  • Process manual check requests and wires.
  • Process vendor payments through vendor portals.
  • Investigate and resolve problems with vendor invoicing.
  • Manage returned payments and collect update information from vendors.
  • Assist with the 1099 process.
  • Support month-end close by performing accounting duties.

Requirements:

  • Mid-Senior level.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable roles.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
  • Competency with productivity systems such as NetSuite and Bill.com.
  • Basic data entry skills.
  • Comfortable with math and calculations.
  • Good listening and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
