Job Title: Senior Technical Specialist

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading key projects and initiatives, ensuring smooth terminal operations, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical/Chemical/Petroleum/Electronics, with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience preferably in Oil and Gas or the Public Sector.
  2. They will develop Annual Delivery Plans (ADP) in conjunction with other stakeholders, taking into account downstream demand and upstream supplies of QG.
  3. The role involves reviewing LNG quality and quantity discharge reports from Independent Surveyors and highlighting any ambiguities.
  4. Also, they will compile, monitor, and maintain data related to LNG delivered, re-gasified volumes, and daily retainage at the terminal.
  5. Maintaining records and generating reports as required is also key to this role.
  6. The successful candidate will work closely with terminal operators to manage outages at the terminal and develop contingency plans to minimize the impact on regasification operations.
  7. Closing coordination with Gas Control will be required to ensure smooth and uninterruptible RLNG supply chain operations.
  8. The role involves calculating estimated laytime for upcoming vessels to ensure that laytime remains within contractual limits and avoid liabilities.
  9. Reviewing the 90-day schedule shared by LNG Suppliers from an operational perspective and working out operational plans is also a key responsibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical skills in Mechanical/Chemical/Petroleum/Electronics
  • At least 4 years of post-qualification experience preferably in Oil and Gas or the Public Sector
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
