About this role

We are seeking a technically proficient Automation Systems Specialist to support the development, integration, and commissioning of industrial automation and electrical systems.


Key Responsibilities
  • PLC Programming & Integration:
    • Develop and configure PLC programs using Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) and Siemens (S7, TIA Portal) platforms.
    • Design and implement HMI/SCADA systems, ensuring seamless communication with PLCs.
    • Troubleshoot and optimize automation systems during Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and commissioning.
  • Instrumentation & Control:
    • Selection, calibration, installation, and commissioning of field instruments (flow, pressure, temperature, level, etc.).
    • Develop and review control philosophies, loop diagrams, and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
    • Ensure proper integration of instrumentation with control systems.
  • Electrical & MCC Works:
    • Supervise installation and testing of Motor Control Centers (MCCs), switchgears, control panels, and cable management systems.
    • Review and interpret electrical schematics, Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), and panel General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
    • Coordinate with panel manufacturers and electrical contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Site Execution & Commissioning:
    • Plan and execute site activities, including installation, testing, and commissioning of automation and electrical systems.
    • Ensure adherence to project timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards.
    • Conduct pre-commissioning checks and participate in SAT with clients.
  • Customer Handling & Technical Support:
    • Serve as the technical point of contact for customers during project lifecycle.
    • Provide on-site support, training, and after-sales service as required.
    • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, reports, and records for customer handover.
