Procurement Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled procurement specialist to source and procure materials, products, and services at competitive prices. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the market, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

The successful procurement specialist will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on price, quality, and service. They will negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and process purchase orders in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure materials, products, and services from diverse suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Process purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely procurement.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments for replenishment.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure all procurements comply with company policies and regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Address any issues related to orders, deliveries, or supplier performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of market trends and sourcing strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of supply chain and inventory management.
