We are seeking highly skilled and motivated professionals to fill the role of Technical Quality Assurance Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a keen analytical mindset, experience with technical writing, functional testing on Web-based and Smart Phone Applications, and be able to produce robust test cases that are timely, detailed, and mapped to functional requirements/User Stories.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Documenting test cases, requirements & scripts for manual and automated testing while possessing solid technical skills.
- Candidates should have proven analytical ability and strong communication skills including proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Self-motivated and capable of working in a dynamic environment, with knowledge of Agile and SCRUM methodology.
- Developing high-quality, detailed, and well-structured test cases from user stories.
- Executing test cases and reporting testing activity to the manager(s).
- Working with application developers to fix any identified problems.
- Collaborating with Product Manager to gather business and functional requirements and document them.
- Preparing and assisting in providing meaningful reviews in the creation of error logs, bug reports, and recommending fixes for them.
- Excellent skills in planning, control, scheduling, and launching of QA/QC activities during SDLC.
- Conducting compatibility tests with other software programs, multiple operating systems, and environments, including smartphones.
- A willingness and aptitude to work with various new infrastructure technologies as required.
- An out-of-the-box thinker who can perform other duties as deemed relevant based upon experience.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer/Software Engineering/Information Technology is required. Additionally, candidates should possess solid technical skills with an ability to document test cases, requirements & scripts for manual and automated testing. Strong analytical ability and effective communication skills are also essential. Knowledge of Agile and SCRUM methodology is necessary, along with familiarity with test-driven software development, extraction of features from user stories, preparation of test plans, and testing software programs & documentation.
