Job Title: Supply Chain Temperature Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage temperature-controlled logistics, ensuring the safe transportation and storage of perishable goods. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining product quality, meeting regulatory requirements, and improving supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cold Chain Management: Oversee the transportation, storage, and distribution of temperature-sensitive products, ensuring they are handled and stored correctly to prevent loss and maintain quality.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all cold chain operations adhere to food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP guidelines, minimizing the risk of contamination and non-compliance.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize cold chain processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and increase productivity.
  • Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners, warehouses, and suppliers, ensuring seamless communication and effective collaboration to achieve common goals.
  • Temperature Monitoring: Utilize temperature tracking systems and data analytics to monitor cold chain operations in real-time, enabling proactive decision-making and quick response to any issues that may arise.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring that perishable goods are properly stored and handled to prevent loss and maintain stock levels.
  • Training & Development: Provide guidance and training to warehouse and logistics personnel on cold chain best practices, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on cold chain performance, highlighting areas for improvement and providing recommendations for optimization.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Degree in Chemicals, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in cold chain logistics, preferably in FMCG, food, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of refrigeration systems, temperature monitoring devices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize logistics processes.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
