Senior Shopify Designer & E-commerce Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated e-commerce specialist to manage our Shopify store. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and ongoing management of our Shopify store, including product listings, integration of third-party apps, and ensuring an optimized and seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Customization: Create visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly Shopify store designs that align with the brand's identity.
  • UI/UX Design: Focus on user experience to ensure easy navigation, mobile optimization, and a clean, intuitive interface.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain consistency in design elements such as colors, typography, and imagery across the website to reflect the brand's voice and appeal to the target audience.

Store Management:

  • Ongoing Store Optimization: Monitor and improve the store's functionality, performance, and overall user experience. Ensure all pages are optimized for speed and usability.
  • Inventory & Order Management: Oversee the inventory system, manage product availability, and ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Customer Support: Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to products, orders, or the shopping experience in a timely and professional manner.

Product Listings & Optimization:

  • Product Listing Management: Add new products, update existing listings, and ensure that all product descriptions, images, pricing, and variants are accurate.
  • SEO Optimization for Products: Ensure that product listings are optimized for search engines (SEO) by including relevant keywords, high-quality images, and effective descriptions.
  • Pricing Strategy: Manage product pricing, sales, and discounts to ensure competitive positioning in the market.

Integration & Third-Party Apps:

  • App Integration: Integrate third-party apps and tools such as payment gateways, shipping solutions, email marketing platforms, and other Shopify plugins to enhance store functionality.
  • Payment and Shipping Configurations: Set up and manage payment gateways, shipping options, and taxes, ensuring a smooth checkout experience for customers.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Store Analytics: Monitor store performance, including traffic, conversion rates, and sales data. Use insights to improve store design, product offerings, and marketing strategies.
  • A/B Testing: Run tests to optimize various aspects of the store, such as product page layouts, call-to-action buttons, and checkout processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with Shopify and managing Shopify stores, including design, product listings, and store optimization.
  • Familiarity with Shopify Apps for marketing, sales, and store optimization.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, mobile responsiveness, and e-commerce best practices.
  • Experience in managing product listings and optimizing them for SEO to boost visibility and conversions.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, or other performance tracking tools.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO strategies for improving organic traffic and rankings.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Shopify Plus or enterprise-level Shopify stores.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools.
  • Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
  • Graphic design skills and experience using design tools.
