Job Title: Cloud Engineering Specialist

As a cloud engineering specialist, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing and maintaining our OpenShift infrastructure.

Our ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with designing, deploying and optimizing OpenShift solutions. They will also have expertise in containerization, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes and Linux/Unix administration.

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the application team with containerization and building CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will assist with Red Hat OpenShift RBAC, new project onboarding, deployment of Red Hat OpenShift containers and clusters, persistent volume configurations and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for OpenShift-related matters.
  • Assist with containerization of applications and building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Assist with RBAC for Common Requirements.
  • Assist with new project onboarding for OpenShift.
  • Assist with deployment of Red Hat OpenShift containers and clusters.
  • Assist with persistent volume configurations.
  • Assist with project creations and node mapping.
  • Assist with day-2 support, re-configuration and planning of Red Hat OpenShift operating environment.
  • Assist with providing performance tuning and optimization.
  • Assist with performing system diagnosis and resolution of Red Hat OpenShift related issues.
  • Assist with upgrades and patches installation.
  • Assist with onboarding of tenants on OpenShift clusters.
  • Assist with deployment of additional nodes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Between 0-3 years of experience working with OpenShift.
  • Strong experience in Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, technologies and protocols.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong managerial skills and ability to take ownership of projects and responsibilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
