Cloud Infrastructure Expert

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Expert to provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Red Hat OpenStack Platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux system troubleshooting, configuration, backups, and performance tuning, with strong hands-on knowledge of CBIS, CBAM, and AirFrame hardware.

The Cloud Infrastructure Expert will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting network products, including CBIS (CloudBand Infrastructure Software), CBAM (CloudBand Application Manager), and AirFrame hardware, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. They will also diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues on AirFrame servers and other telecom-related equipment.

The successful candidate will provide expertise in designing, implementing, and testing disaster recovery and backup strategies for OpenStack environments and cloud workloads. They will collaborate with customers and internal teams to identify root causes, design scalable solutions, and implement fixes, patches, or workarounds while maintaining detailed documentation of resolutions and best practices.

This role requires a solid understanding of networking protocols, virtualization, and OpenStack architecture and services. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure support, Linux system administration, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Linux troubleshooting, configuration, backups, and Bash scripting.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of CBIS, CBAM, and AirFrame hardware, with proven expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining these systems.
  • Familiarity with telecom technologies, including ETSI NFV standards, RAN, and Core Network fundamentals.
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
