Sales & Business Development Head

  • Reporting to the Chief Commercial Executive, you will be responsible for leading and managing a high-performing sales team. Your primary objective is to identify areas of improvement within the existing sales department and develop strategies to enhance its performance.
  1. Sales Team Management:
  • The Sales & Business Development Head will conduct thorough evaluations of the sales department's performance, analyzing results to pinpoint areas requiring improvement.
  • With your expertise, you will assess and identify the necessary competencies and resources required by the sales department to achieve optimal performance.
  1. Analytics:
  • You will oversee research and analysis on the sales department's performance, ensuring timely and accurate sales reporting.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on sales activities for presentation to senior management, facilitating strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the CCE to set, monitor, and validate sales team objectives.
  1. Business Development, Large Proposals Management, and Key Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Leverage your exceptional business development skills to lead efforts in securing major opportunities in Pakistan.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders within the region.
  • As a brand ambassador, represent the organization, share its vision, increase awareness, and build new connections.
  • Prepare and submit pre-qualification documents, expressions of interest, offers, and tenders, including contract review.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or related field with an engineering background.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in sales within complex, fast-paced environments, preferably as a Sales & Business Development Manager.
  • Proven track record of success in sales research, data analysis, and strategy formulation to meet targets.
  • Established contacts within the industry and experience working with CRM platforms.
  • Strong sales skills with a proven history of achievement.
  • Experience working with both public and private sector companies for tenders, negotiations, and finalizations.
