About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts department.
  • Act as an In-Charge in the absence of the Financial Controller.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the accounts department, including reconciliations, postings, and financial reporting. They will also assist in preparing the monthly trial balance and resulting financial statements, as well as overseeing member billing and collection procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile daily postings and post account adjustments.
  • Coordinate and reconcile party billing and member events in CMS.
  • Receive and track invoices.
  • Timely processing of vendor cheques and reconcile vendor statements.
  • Verify employees payroll and benefits, centenary education and arrange bank transfers.
  • Supervise the work of Cost Controller.
  • Assist in preparing the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of changes in financial condition, along with required supporting schedules and other data necessary for financial reports and records.
  • Monitor summary report of the monthly ledgers including receivables, payables, bank accounts, asset accounts and payroll accounts.
  • Prepare accounting reports as necessary and appropriate for dissemination to Management.
  • Oversee finance stores operations and ensure smooth running of the inventory through proper inventory procedures.
  • Safeguard all funds in bank accounts; assure that revenues are properly and correctly deposited and supervise the drawing of all cheques.
Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus).
