Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Java Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support group, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective technical assistance during business hours, monitoring system performance and responding to alerts, troubleshooting and resolving issues in Java applications, documenting incidents and solutions for knowledge sharing, collaborating with development teams on improvements, and participating in process enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support coverage during business hours, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Monitor system performance and respond promptly to alerts, taking proactive measures to prevent issues from escalating.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in Java applications, utilizing advanced problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Document incidents and solutions thoroughly, facilitating knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements, driving continuous process refinement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with Java development, including programming languages and software development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with technical support roles and incident response processes.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and concisely.
