Medical Billing Specialist

As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound patient calls with professionalism and empathy, addressing patient inquiries about billing, payments, and insurance claims, communicating effectively with insurance companies and other stakeholders, educating patients about their financial responsibilities and payment options, and maintaining accurate records of all interactions in the billing system.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service within the medical billing industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with healthcare billing terminology and insurance processes.
• Ability to multitask and resolve issues efficiently.

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all patient interactions, ensuring seamless communication between departments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including insurance companies, to resolve billing and payment disputes.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of healthcare billing terminology, regulations, and best practices.
