Job Summary:

A Freight Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating the movement of goods from one location to another. We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Freight Dispatcher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling
  • Communicate with customers about freight details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests.
  • Plan pre-determined routes and accommodate route changes as needed.
  • Prepare dispatch documents, as well as generate freight bills and invoices.
  • Maintain records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pickup times.
  • Stay up-to-date with transportation regulations and laws to ensure compliance.
