About the HR Manager Position:

This is a key role within our organization where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resource Management. You will play a vital part in ensuring that our employees have the best possible experience and are supported in their roles.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining and enhancing the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • Creating and distributing contractual & organizational announcements.
  • Providing customer service to employees.
  • Serving as a point of contact with benefit vendors/administrators.
  • Setting appointments and arranging meetings.
  • Maintaining calendars of HR management team.
  • Maintaining Holiday calendar for the team.
  • Compiling reports and preparing spreadsheets.

Recruitment/New Hire Process:

  • Creating Value vs Cost model for each hiring position.
  • Creating head count forecast based on company goals.
  • Participating in recruitment efforts.
  • Posting job ads and organizing resumes and job applications.
  • Scheduling job interviews and assisting in the interview process.
  • Collecting employment and tax information.
  • Ensuring background and reference checks are completed.
  • Preparing new employee files.
  • Overseeing the completion of compensation and benefit documentation.
  • Orienting new employees to the organization (setting up designated log-in, workstation, email address, etc.).
  • Administering new employment assessments.
  • Serving as a point person for all new employee questions.

Record Maintenance:

  • Maintaining current HR files and databases.
  • Updating and maintaining employee benefits, employment status, and similar records.
  • Maintaining records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
  • Performing file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained.
  • Completing termination paperwork and assisting with exit interviews.

Job Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or HR Management.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in HR in a reputable organization.
  • Excellent email writing and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Friendly and personable demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
