Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

The role of Senior Quality Assurance Specialist is to spearhead testing efforts in an agile environment, ensuring timely and efficient prevention of defects and issues. This includes leading agile testing efforts, collaborating closely with business and technology stakeholders, and driving regression automation using a defined automation framework.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed in the testing process. You will also design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the repeatability and scalability of tests.
Key responsibilities include:
- Agile Testing Leadership
- Spearhead testing efforts in an agile environment, ensuring timely and efficient prevention of defects and issues.
- Engage in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Foster strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed in the testing process.
- Regression Automation
- Trigger and implement regression tests using a defined automation framework.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the repeatability and scalability of tests.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate testing suites into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Quality Advocacy
- Advocate for best practices in quality assurance across the team.
- Lead initiatives to improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Act as the voice of quality, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or relevant work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance.
- Strong experience with agile methodologies, particularly scrum.
- Proficient in test automation tools, especially Selenium.
- Demonstrable experience with regression testing and CI/CD integrations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
