Job Overview

The Utilities Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in streamlining solar project management through the utility application process.

This position demands effective collaboration and relationship-building skills to overcome obstacles and successfully manage multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead intake meetings from land sales to utilities
  • Conduct thorough reviews of project documents
  • Initiate the utility application process and maintain accurate records per established procedure
  • Submit project applications to utilities
  • Manage NES databases for all utility companies and projects
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication of project status among internal stakeholders
  • Serve as a liaison between departments to ensure accountability and deliverables
  • Follow up with utilities as necessary
  • Monitor and communicate deadlines for utility applications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • 1-2 years of business office experience, with general knowledge of business processes
  • Basic business information and research skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, organization, planning, prioritization, and follow-up skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and Adobe Pro
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in customer service and email correspondence
