Job Description

As a proficient software engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing features in existing products according to specifications, adhering to established guidelines and best practices.

  • Develop both frontend and backend systems using your expertise in software engineering principles, including object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, model-view-controller architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Create REST APIs to ensure seamless communication between systems, leveraging your knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and adhere to coding standards to maintain high-quality code.
  • Participate in Scrum meetings to ensure timely delivery of projects, utilizing your excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for software applications across various stages of development.
Key Requirements:
  • A strong foundation in software engineering principles, including OOAD, design patterns, MVC, data structures, and algorithms.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML5, or other relational databases.
  • Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs.
  • Proficiency in source control (Git) and unit testing tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
