Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team. As an SQA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis.

This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience who are passionate about software quality and eager to learn and grow in the field of quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute test cases and scripts based on test plans to ensure software quality.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to identify bugs and issues found during testing.
  • Work with developers to reproduce issues and ensure they are resolved.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Document test results and ensure accurate reporting of test coverage.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Basic understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with manual testing techniques and tools.
  • Experience with scripting languages or basic programming knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify and document issues accurately.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for documenting test cases and reporting issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
