Business Integration Analyst Role

This position involves a blend of technical and business analysis skills, with the primary focus on ensuring seamless integration across various systems.

  • Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements for system integration, including collaborating with IT professionals, clients, and external vendors to document integration needs.
  • Responsibilities include creating data mappings, defining API specifications, performing API testing using tools like Postman and SoapUI, and conducting System Integration Testing (SIT) to ensure data integrity and functionality.
  • Also, this role requires working with the integration developers and operations support team to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner, as well as maintaining version control for all integration documentation.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation of integration processes, including data mappings, workflows, message formats, validations, and transformation rules is also an essential part of this job.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in IT business/integration analysis, integration development, or related field.
  • Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and techniques.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to work with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of API concepts and protocols, authentication mechanisms, and database design.
  • Ability to create detailed integration documents, API specifications, and use cases.
