Senior IT Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned and ambitious Senior IT Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our organization's IT operations. This role involves managing the IT team, developing and implementing technology strategies, ensuring systems security and reliability, and supporting the technological needs of the business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the IT department, including infrastructure, networks, software, servers, and help desk support.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Oversee IT budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure the security of IT systems, data, and network infrastructure.
  • Plan and lead IT projects, including system upgrades, cloud migrations, and new technology implementations.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand IT needs and align solutions with business objectives.
  • Monitor system performance and take proactive steps to minimize downtime and risks.
  • Lead and mentor IT staff, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT, including 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong technical background with experience in systems administration, networking, and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), enterprise applications, and ITIL practices.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, PMP, CISSP, Microsoft Certified) are a plus.
