Fitness and Wellness Specialist

About the Role:

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement fitness and wellness programs that cater to diverse member needs.
  2. Coach and engage members on fitness and wellness activities, promoting a culture of healthy living.
  3. Collaborate with staff to create a welcoming environment for members.
  4. Maintain accurate records of program participation and member feedback.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • At least 6 months of experience in the fitness and wellness field.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid/AED/O2 within 60 days of hire.
  • Able to lead teams and collaborate with staff to achieve program goals.
Benefits and Compensation:

We offer excellent benefits, including 12% retirement upon meeting the requirements of the National YMCA Retirement Fund. Members also receive a complimentary adult membership.

Hiring Rate: $12.55 - $13.96 per hour.
