We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credentialing Specialist to fill this role.
Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of hands-on experience in provider credentialing for both commercial and federal payers across multiple specialties.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage initial credentialing for healthcare providers.
- Prepare and submit applications to commercial and government payers.
- Maintain and update CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and other payer portals.
- Track application statuses, expirations, and re-credentialing timelines.
- Communicate with insurance companies, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized records and protect sensitive provider information.
- 1–2 years of experience in credentialing.
- Familiarity with credentialing platforms (CAQH, PECOS, Availity, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
