Business Continuity Management Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement and maintain an effective ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System.
  2. Ensure business continuity processes align with ISO 22301 standards and other relevant frameworks.
  3. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to business operations.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  5. Conduct business impact analysis to identify critical resources including maximum tolerable downtime, recovery time objective and recovery point objective.
  6. Develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans, procedures, and documentation.
  7. Regularly review and update continuity measures to ensure effectiveness.
  8. Establish and manage incident response, crisis management and disaster recovery framework.
  9. Coordinate and conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of continuity and response plans.
  10. Analyze test results and incidents to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary enhancements.
  11. Provide training on business continuity principles, procedures, and roles in a disruption.
  12. Foster a culture of preparedness and resilience across the organization.
  13. Ensure up-to-date and accessible documentation for key stakeholders.
  14. Plan and conduct internal audits to assess compliance with ISO 22301 standards.
  15. Collaborate with department heads to address non-conformities identified during audits.
  16. Coordinate external audits by certification bodies and regulatory agencies.
