Nuclear Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Specialist to join our team in the development and production of innovative radiotracers. As part of our growing radiopharmaceutical program, you will play a key role in establishing and leading our new facility focused on fluorine-18, gallium-68, and copper-64 based radiopharmaceuticals.

The successful candidate will have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and be licensed as a Pharmacist with experience in nuclear pharmacy. Board certification in nuclear pharmacy is highly desirable. A strong knowledge of chromatography method development and radiotracer synthesis optimization is essential.

Key responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with local and Federal regulations, supervising radiotracer manufacturing and quality control, and coordinating cGMP documentation review. The ideal candidate will have effective supervision and training abilities, with a proven track record of problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and maintain cleanliness of lab in accordance with facility housekeeping schedules.
  • Identify backorder situations early enough to validate replacement components and submit associated documentation.
  • Oversee inventory management systems for chemicals and other materials necessary to meet cGMP criteria.
  • Monitor cleanroom parameters required for daily operation.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
  • Licensed as a Pharmacist with experience in nuclear pharmacy.
  • Board certification in nuclear pharmacy is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of chromatography method development and radiotracer synthesis optimization.
