Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain secure and scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Implement robust RESTful and SOAP APIs for seamless integration across services.
  • Employ microservices architecture to enhance scalability and integration flexibility.

Main Objectives:

  • To lead system and component design reviews for compliance with standards.
  • To troubleshoot post-deployment issues and monitor system stability.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Advanced knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security and Spring Cloud.
  • In-depth understanding of design patterns and experience with microservices architectures.
  • Proficiency with RESTful and SOAP APIs, JSON and XML.
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases and familiarity with NoSQL.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, QA) and mentor junior developers.
  • Ensure secure communication standards and interact effectively with clients.

About This Role:

This role requires a skilled professional with expertise in designing, developing and maintaining secure and scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture, as well as experience with API implementation and database management.

  • APIs & Data Formats: Proficiency with RESTful and SOAP APIs, JSON and XML.
  • CICD Pipelines: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
  • Database Management: Hands-on experience with relational databases and familiarity with NoSQL.

Working Relationships:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, QA) and mentor junior developers.
  • Interact effectively with clients and ensure secure communication standards.

Absolutely Essential Requirements:

  • Familiarity with AWS, Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial.
