Responsibilities

The Senior Database Administrator - Security will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data. Key responsibilities include:

  • Database Activity Monitoring: Monitor database activity to detect and prevent unauthorized access or malicious activities.
  • Log Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze logs from database servers to identify potential security threats.
  • Security Solution Implementation: Implement security solutions to protect against identified threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Incident Response: Respond to and resolve security incidents in a timely manner.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Technical Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of technical experience in database security and analytics.
  • Skills and Competencies: Proven skills in installation, configuration, and setup of Guardium appliances and agents.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information/Cyber Security, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
