About the Role

The Senior Database Administrator will be part of a world-class team supporting global flagship products and legacy offerings. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, reliability, performance, and scalability.

  • As a critical member of the team, you will collaborate with a global group of database administrators and engineers.
  • You will work on issues requiring analysis of situations or data, reviewing relevant factors.

Responsibilities:

  • Support, administer, manage, and tune multi-terabyte database systems.
  • Manage key database releases as part of the overall SDLC.
  • Maintain databases, including patch applications and enhancements/upgrades of environments.
  • Install upgrades and patches to existing databases servers.
  • Automate routine maintenance tasks using scripting technologies.
  • Solve non-routine problems through cost/benefit analysis.
