Financial Director

About the Role

The Financial Director is responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

  • Develop and lead a team of finance professionals to achieve financial objectives.
  • Design and implement financial plans, risk management strategies, and their alignment with business goals.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including financial statements, income statements, and balance sheets.
  • Monitor sales and profit projections and compare them to actual figures.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion through new product areas and investments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced certifications in Finance and Business.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Financial Director in the Retail industry.
  • 10-12 years of total accounting or financial management experience.
  • Proven leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence to motivate staff.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate financial law and regulations.
  • Hands-on experience in ERP, Risk Management, and budgeting software.
