Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Field and Customer Support Executive to lead the onboarding of retailers onto our platform. This role requires a professional with a solid understanding of the local retail market and prior experience in merchant onboarding.

The ideal candidate will assist retailers with technical setups, digital payment activation, and ensure a seamless transition to our platform. The role demands excellent communication skills, on-site troubleshooting abilities, and self-motivation to work independently while promoting app adoption.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct regular field visits to onboard retailers onto the platform, providing hands-on installation and support.
  2. Educate merchants on using the platform effectively and accepting digital payments via QR codes to improve their operational efficiency.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues during installations, offering immediate solutions to minimize disruptions.
  4. Collaborate with field agents to streamline activation processes and support merchants throughout onboarding.
  5. Provide ongoing support to merchants both in-office and in-field, addressing queries and enhancing their experience with the platform.
  6. Promote the benefits of digital onboarding and encourage merchant adoption to maximize engagement.
  7. Monitor onboarding progress, report on outcomes, and identify areas for process improvement.
  8. Use strong communication and persuasion skills to build trust and loyalty with shopkeepers and merchants.
  9. Travel locally as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach with minimal supervision.
