Senior Software Architect

An agile team designs, develops and maintains enterprise feed systems and other related software applications.

Maintain production environments and collaborate with technical and non-technical partners to ensure smooth operations.

Design individual components, mentor or supervise team members onshore and offshore to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Balance factors when choosing a solution design: speed to market, cost to implement, technical complexity, supportability, maintainability and impact on existing systems/processes.

Research, test, build and integrate new products based on client requirements, perform feasibility analysis for future projects and provide recommendations.

Evaluate and recommend application software packages, integration tools and testing tools to resolve software problems and improve overall performance.

Develop software user manuals and architect the overall solution to meet business needs.

Participate in design sessions, engineer components and common services based on corporate development models to drive innovation.

Perform code reviews, coordinate unit testing, QA testing and User Acceptance testing to ensure quality and reliability.

Maintain ongoing Production support of entire applications, including investigation and resolution of Production incidents to minimize downtime.

Design and develop new software products or enhancements to existing software to stay competitive.

Solve systems integration, compatibility and multiple platforms problems to deliver high-quality solutions.

Instruct, assign, direct and check work of other software developers to achieve project goals.

Develop functional and technical documentation as needed to facilitate communication and understanding.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years web application development experience.
  • C#, ASP.Net, JavaScript, XML/XSLT, HTML/CSS, Front End Web Development, SQL.
  • SQL Server experience, high-performing solutions.
  • .NET stack experience: ASP.NET WebForms, MVC, Angular.
  • Experience with Git, Bitbucket, SourceTree, Jira.
  • CI/CD tools, live deployment without downtime.
  • Swagger & documentation tools experience.
  • vue.js & similar technologies experience.
  • Node, PHP, Laravel, MySQL experience.
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Scrum.
  • Ability to resolve performance-related issues through testing, debugging and profiling.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • B2B and B2C application development experience.
  • CRM/ERP solutions experience.
  • Financial and accounting systems experience is a plus.
  • Supply chain management experience is a plus.
  • Jenkins and Docker experience will be a plus.
