Key Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Provisioning VM / Azure App Services.
  2. Automation using PowerShell scripts.
  3. Maintaining Azure security standards.
  4. Monitoring MS SQL databases and server instances.
  5. Performing SQL queries, backups, and maintenance.
  6. Creating alerts in Azure to monitor various services.
  7. Configuring and maintaining VPNs.
  8. Managing DNS.
  9. Managing Virtual Networks, Azure Traffic Manager, Network Security Groups, and IP/Port whitelisting.
  10. Managing DR services.
  11. Performing application installs of our products.
  12. Report writing.
  13. Problem solving.

Requirements:
We're seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  1. Familiarity with MS SQL.
  2. Exposure to Windows Server Administration.
  3. Familiarity with public cloud providers and basic administration skills.
  4. Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication skills - fluent English (spoken and written).
  6. Highly numerate.
  7. Experience with standard business environment software such as MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  8. Tech savvy: Ability to keep up with the latest software trends and strong at technical troubleshooting.
  9. Reliable, dependable, and with a strong work ethic.
  10. Organized with the ability to prioritize.
  11. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and also to problem solve autonomously where required.
  12. College Degree, Professional Qualification, or extensive Work Experience in one of the following disciplines:
