Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Your primary focus will be on developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality. You will perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to identify and document defects using bug-tracking tools.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. You should also have hands-on experience with test case management and defect tracking tools, such as JIRA and TestRail.

In addition to your technical skills, you should possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will analyze test results and provide insights to improve product quality. You will also develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Cypress to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a senior role.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with test case management and defect tracking tools.
  • Proficiency in manual testing techniques, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Experience with SQL for database validation and API testing using tools like Postman.
  • Familiarity with automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
