This role involves taking ownership of server-side logic, database integration, and API development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Node.js or Python (FastAPI), strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, and an understanding of OAuth and secure authentication practices.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs
  • Integrate backend logic with databases and external services
  • Implement backend support for chatbot workflows and logic
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Strong programming skills in Node.js and/or Python (FastAPI preferred)
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with chatbot platforms or AI-related applications
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment pipelines
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
  • Experience with GraphQL is a plus
  • Unit testing and API testing experience (e.g., Postman, PyTest, Jest)
