  • We are looking for a Laravel developer with an eye for attention to detail, a good listener, able to follow instructions and above all, a passionate coder.
  • This role is full-time, permanent and remote (i.e., working from home or place of your choice) to start with.
  • Being a remote role, you must be able to arrange your own development equipment, a reliable internet connection, and a backup power supply in case of load shedding.

Job Specification

Must have:

  • Laravel experience of at least 2 years, v5.0 onwards
  • MySQL or MariaDB v5.5 onwards
  • Good understanding of MVC
  • Understanding of OOP concepts
  • Some frontend experience in jQuery or Vue.js
  • Ability to write clean, efficient code
  • Ability to work with Git and Bitbucket
  • Ability to work on your own under the direction of a team lead
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English, both verbal and written

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience with WordPress
  • Experience with later versions of Laravel, for example, v7 or v8
