Job Responsibilities

Financial Leadership Role

  1. Cash Flow Planning and Budgeting: Develop comprehensive financial models to forecast cash flow positions and budgets.
  2. Accounting Operations Management: Oversee the overall accounting and store functions, ensuring timely vendor payments and invoicing.
  3. Audit Coordination and Resolution: Plan external audits, coordinate with auditors, and address observations highlighted during the audit.
  4. Financial Institution Liaison: Deal with financial institutions, tax advisors, legal advisors, and regulators on behalf of the organization.
  5. Departmental Operations Oversight: Design an organizational structure to achieve departmental goals and objectives, and oversee its implementation.
  6. Financial Advice and Reporting: Provide financial guidance, prepare day-to-day reporting requirements, vouchers, analysis, and support subordinates in making sound decisions.
  7. Cash Flow Position Forecasting: Continuously monitor and forecast cash flow positions to ensure the organization's liquidity.
  8. Management Reporting: Prepare management reports, including financials and variance analysis, to inform business decisions.
  9. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure that financial practices adhere to statutory legislation, regulations, and company standard operating procedures.
  10. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of store inventories, monitor monthly stock counts, and track project inventories.
  11. Payment Disbursements: Ensure prompt and accurate payment to suppliers, payroll, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  12. Sales Record Keeping: Maintain accurate sales records, customer files, and receipts, and ensure proper booking of all transactions.
  13. Strategic Direction Formulation: Assist in formulating the organization's overall strategic direction.
  14. Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
